嘉宝在本片中扮演一名苏俄女干部，奉派前往巴黎调查三名手下出售一批沙皇时代珠宝的工作进度。这三名手下俨然已经被资本主义所腐蚀。不料她自己置身在自由浪漫的花都之后也不禁思想解冻，并且跟当地的中年美国男子发生了难分难解的爱情。而这名男子正是珠宝的前主人派来的阻止他们工作的……。Stan and Ollie are charged with delivering the deed to a valuable gold mine to the daughter of a dead prospector.
