《喜新不厌旧 Black-Ish》的衍生剧《成长不容易 grown-ish》在美国时间1月3日首播，才播了四集就获电视台Freeform续订20集的第二季。该剧获得不错的评价及收视（最新集收视0.4），获续订并不意外。 《成长不容易》讲述Zoey（Yara Shahidi饰）在离开家人来到大学后，很快发现这里的生活不能事事如意。母剧演员Deon Cole在衍生剧继续饰演Charlie，他在大学兼职当市场学教授。。Malvís (Alfredo Landa) is sick of working like crazy for nothing.
