Plebs follows three desperate young men from the suburbs...。对钱有着超乎常人的敏锐度的堤芯子（筱原凉子 饰）作为前诈欺师正在被假释中。出来后，在路上遇到看起来既有钱又好骗的老人久留米勋（宇津井健 饰），正准备在他身上大捞一笔的芯子反倒被作为检察官的老人相中，误打误撞成了会计监察厅特别调查课的一员。 特别调查课的宗旨在于保护国民的税金，防止被其它部门滥用。有着欺诈经验的芯子在这里可谓发挥了她的专长，而她的到来无疑改变着调查课。在这里有曾经热血如今淡漠的金田铁男（桐谷健太 饰），有新进的年轻后辈工藤优（冈田将生 饰），还有她曾经骗婚的对象角松一郎（大泉洋 饰）等。和这些性格各异的同事工作，在改变他们的同时，芯子也在被改造中……。浩瀚太空，航天员意外失联，生命最大的绝境中，他回忆起自己那个最了不起的爸爸。一对父子跨越漫长的时光，守护爱和亲情，故事充满了欢乐、温暖、泪水与奇观。。
